Abstract:

This presentation reports on the Grid summer workshop 2004 and 2005 held at the South Padre Island, Texas. This is a major Grid Education and Communication project undertaken by UTB in collaboration with GriPhyN, iVDGL, Grids Center, NCSA and CCT of LSU. The program has proven to be successful and has met the goals it set for spreading Grid education and awareness among undergraduate and early graduate students, particularly those from the MSIs. The organizers intend to continue this effort.
